The owner, Dan French, is a Certified Ice Technician (C.I.T.) thru STAR (Serving The American Rinks) and ORFA (Ontario Recreation Facilities Assoc.) and an experienced indoor and outdoor rink operator, and can walk you through the design process and will be at your site to build your rink.

Step one is to create a level surface, which can then double as a great sports field for the family. No matter
what the size rink you want, the closer to level your surface can be makes a big difference.

Laying out the NiceRink™ brackets to hold up the plywood boards

Once the boards are up, the NiceRink™ liner is rolled out and filled with water. Then with just a few cold nights it's ready to skate on (as early as Nov. 20 in 2008).

Snow removal on bigger rinks is helped by a large snowblower or tractor. Evergreen also owns a 1964 Zamboni if you ever needed one for a large event.

Then the rink is ready for all to enjoy.
